This outstanding photograph, courtesy of the Dryden Flight Research Center shows the remarkable similarities amongst the T-38, the F-104, and the F-18. The T-38 was specifically designed to emulate the flight characteristics of contemporary high-performance fighters, but at a significantly lower acquisition and operational cost.
