| Sorry for the long download time on this one, but it is a sequence of
pictures which belong together. In this exercise, the instructor is demonstrating a
technique of concealing himself. Using a pole, which is visible in the first
picture, he loosens an area under the matted growth on the jungle floor. He then
works his way into the hole and manages to get himself completely into it. After the
last photo was taken, he closed up the opening and he was completely invisible. In a
later exercise, this same instructor went into an area about 200 feet square with a ten
minute head start. The entire group of us then tried to find him. We couldn't;
even though at several times, people stood right on top of him. |
