Drinking Water

The vines, shown in the previous picture, if cut rapidly into a short section and quickly raised as shown above, provided a source of drinking water which was completely safe.  We were warned, however, that if the sap was milky, rather than clear, it was not safe to drink.  Sorry for the poor focus on this one.
