Caribous in Vietnam

Unloading Rockets
I can't remember where this picture was taken, but it was on my orientation flight shortly after arriving in-country. We had a load of 2.75" aircraft rockets and we tried to get the pallet moving fast enough by pushing it to get it to slide far enough down the ramp so we could dump it off to the side. We failed. The aircraft commander, Dickie, has one of those typical "so what are you going to do?, send me to Vietnam?" poses, while the flight mechanic was off trying to find someone with a vehicle to pull the load the rest of the way off. Those suckers are really heavy!
