| This photo from the ramp at Pleiku shows the large Tropospheric Communications antennas on Tropo Hill in the background. Pleiku is located about 60 nautical miles due west of Phu Cat. This was a major base with a 10,000 foot instrument runway that I had seen a number of times from the cockpit of a C-141A before my assignment to the C-7A. |
