| This is a photo of the abandoned civilian air terminal at Dalat Lien Khuong. There were actually two places referred to as "Dalat"; this one and Dalat Cam Ly, about 15 nautical miles to the north. This one was located in a flat valley (although still at an altitude of 3156 feet) and had a very long 4800 foot paved runway. Though it is not evident in this picture, the building had withstood some significant battle damage and was thoroughly pock-marked with bullet holes. |
