| Black Durgon (Melichthys niger) This extremely poor scan does not do justice to the incredible coloring of this fish. Although it appears jet black from a distance, it is a complex combination of greens. blues and some yellow. They are quite shy about letting divers approach them, so it is hard to get a really good picture. They are found at depths from 20 -100 feet. |
