| I included this photo because I like it. It obviously is a picture of the C-141 empennage with the sky as a background. On leaving Tinker AFB, I was now an unqualified C-141A Second Pilot. I was a member of a small fraternity, but I was the carpet. The training went very fast and furiously and betrayed very little information about the actual mission of the aircraft. That I would soon find out when I arrived at my first real duty station, McGuire AFB, NJ. |
