| The name plaques at the entrance to my humble abode, which I shared with several other members of the squadron. "Doc" Williams was my roomate for a good deal of my stay and was also the squadron's flight surgeon. Jeff Brower and Fred Nelson came to be good friends. Fred was one of those amazing New Yorkers who didn't have a drivers license when he joined the Air Force, but suffice to say, that after driving a "Bou" in Vietnam for a year, he was probably even Boston-qualified in a car! |
