| This C-123 wreckage had been pushed over the edge of the parking area beside the runway at Gia Nghia. Gia Nghia was little more than a small mountain which had had its top "squared off" to provide a runway. The photo gives some feel for how steep the terrain beside the runway was. If anyone out there has any further information on this aircraft or its crew, please contact me with the information. I believe the crash occurred in the Feb. - Mar. 1970 time frame. |
